It works as a harness on its own but can adapt into a dog pack, an emergency sling, or a light traction harness with the right add-ons. That means less gear to carry, less clutter in your kit, and more versatility on every trip.
Freedom of movement
The Lander harness is the only Y-shaped harness with an adjustable chest pad to ensure your dog’s comfort. Its thoughtful design prevents scapula restriction and eliminates chafing in the armpit area, allowing your dog to move freely.
Rescue harness
The K911 Rescue Sling connects directly to the Lander harness, creating a secure, hands-free way to carry your dog on your back. For safer, more comfortable extractions when injury or exhaustion hits the trail.
Modular packs
Pouches 001 clip directly onto the Lander harness—so your dog can carry trail essentials like waste bags, treats, or your keys. Snap them on when needed. Leave them off when you don’t.

I’ve waited to write a review to ensure I didn’t have concerns about my new harnesses. I purchased 2 Landers so that my dogs could have a comfortable daily harness that also doubled as a car safety one. Honestly, I can’t think of anything I would change about the Lander. I love it so much more than the original Ascension - the Lander is lightweight, nice material, my favorite buckles with one around the neck for my head shy guy, and an additional body strap for my fearful guy who has slipped other harnesses before. The green color is perfect for my red boy and though the teal isn’t my favorite it’s not bad for my white guy. Though we prefer blue ;) I’m able to attach their activity trackers easily and they don’t obstruct collars. I’m still getting the hang of how to adjust all the various straps, but they definitely help adjust the fit to each boy individually.
I’m really happy with the investment I made for my boys’ safety and comfort.
it took a bit of time to get the harness just right. that’s probably more so due to my fidgety dog than the product itself. but once it was dialed in it’s been great. the handle is great for pick up. the metal clips are great. all around highly recommended.
the seat belt attachment was forgotten in our order but a quick readout tocustomer service fixed that and they shipped it right away. pleased with the purchase and so is my dog.
Great design and construction. I've used another crash-tested dog seat restraint system in the past, but I much prefer the Lander. I have found the Lander easier to fit and my puppy likes it a lot. She is an Australian Shepherd, who just turned 9 months old. She is 23 inches tall at the shoulder, 29 inches long from her neck to her rear end, but only 26 inches at the chest. She weighs 39 pounds. Her chest is narrower than my past Aussies at this age. She is tall, long and lean. The size small Lander could be adjusted just right for her, and it's so easy to use in a vehicle. She loves being in the middle row of my full-size SUV, and is very calm fastened into the Lander. She can sit up or lie down, and that's all a dog should do in a vehicle. I really like the front leash clip as all my dogs have always walked in a harness with the leash clipped on the chest. I also appreciate the Lander's handle, making it easier for me to ensure I have full control over Bonnie Mac Waggish as she gets out of the vehicle. I like the Lander so much I've already bought 2 -- the lilac and now the orange. The orange is a great choice for dog visibility in the snow, and we get a lot of it for a long time here in my part of Colorado. The lilac is just gorgeous. Maybe a red or pink in the future?
I really like how my dog can move freely with this harness on and love how it looks. I’ve gotten many complements on it. It’s also very easy to clean.
Amazing harness - lots of ability to adjust the belts as needed. Very secure, and sleek. Much bigger than my previous harness, but i really like it.
